Delegate Information

We're excited to welcome you to the Bradford 2025 BSN Annual Meeting, which is just around the corner! To help you prepare and make the most of your experience, please find some key pre-event information outlined below.

Programme

The programme is available on the Oxford Abstracts conference platform, but please note that the conference programme may be subject to change.


Please be aware that any details regarding the programme abstracts can be viewed by delegates only.


Please keep an eye on the announcements notice board at registration, on the conference platform, or on any of our social media accounts for any last-minute changes.

Conference Platform

This year, we’re excited to launch our new web-based conference platform, Oxford Abstracts, which requires no app download. However, you will need to set up an account.

We encourage all delegates to set up an account early to access the full conference programme, personalise their badge, and enter contact details. This enables:

  • Networking with other delegates
  • Submitting questions during sessions (chairs will review these for discussion)
  • Engaging with posters in the Poster Gallery through comments and questions

We hope the conference platform will help you stay connected, participate actively, and get the most from your conference experience.

Oral Presentations

Please check the conference programme to confirm when you are presenting. We advise speakers to send their PowerPoint presentations in advance.

Presentation Format

  • Selected Abstract Presentations: 10 minutes + 5 minutes for Q&A
  • Invited Presentations: 20 minutes + 10 minutes for Q&A

Your session chair will indicate when you have 3 minutes and 1 minute remaining. Chairs have been instructed to keep sessions strictly to time.

  • Email your PowerPoint presentation in advance to Dr Peter Nicholls
  • Email subject line: BRADFORD 2025 – PRESENTATION
  • Filename format: DateOfPresentation_LastName

Example: 010925_Smith.pptx

  • Deadline: Send your presentation at least a few days before the conference, if possible.

If you don’t send your talk in advance, speakers are kindly requested to upload their PowerPoint slides by 17:00 the day before their presentation. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate any other file formats.

Poster Presentations

Find your poster presentation time

Please check the conference programme to confirm when you are presenting your poster. You can do this by searching your name or viewing the list of submissions under Poster Session 1 or Poster Session 2.

Online Poster Gallery

If you would like your poster included in our online Poster Gallery, please email your poster as a single page PDF to bsnsupport@neuroendo.org.uk before the conference. 

Poster Setup

  • Poster boards are located in Student Central, University of Bradford.
  • Boards are numbered, and each presenter is assigned a space.
  • Posters must be portrait orientation, ideally A0 size (841 mm x 1189 mm).
  • Velcro strips will be provided — please do not bring your own fixings.


Mounting & Removal Times

  • Posters should be mounted on arrival on the day of your poster session.
  • Posters should remain up until 16:00 (final coffee break).
  • Remove by 18:00

Posters not removed by this time will be taken down and recycled by organisers.

Presentation Times

Please be present at your poster during the following times:

  • Poster Session 1: Monday 1st September, 12:00–14:00
  • Poster Session 2: Tuesday 2nd September, 12:00–14:00

WiFi in the Venue

Access to free WiFi will be available through your own eduroam credentials. For more information, please visit eduroam.org.

Filming and Photography

The Alison Douglas and BSN Annual plenary lectures will be filmed. There are no plans to record any of the other presentations.

Book of Abstracts

All accepted abstracts will be accessible on the conference platform. Additionally, through the conference platform, you can download selected abstracts that interest you most for your convenience.
